A German company has developed a sensorless mouse that can be worn on the fingers. Called Clip Mouse, it can perform all the gestures of Apple’s Magic Mouse, and works with all Bluetooth mouse-compatible devices.

Wireless mice are well known, but its manufacturer declares that it has been designed to replace Apple’s Magic Mouse, which offers numerous gestures, but it also works on PCs. Simply place it around two fingers, and it detects hand and finger movements.

This magic mouse is designed for both left-handed and right-handed users, and promises a battery life of 50 hours. It recharges via a USB-C port, positioned so as not to interfere with the use of the mouse (unlike Apple’s Magic Mouse, where the port is located under the mouse). The mouse detects hand movements thanks to a gyroscope, and incorporates a tactile zone located directly under the fingers to detect gestures, such as clicking, and their force.

Magic Mouse works with Bluetooth 5.0 and is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux, as well as any mobile device that accepts Bluetooth mice. It incorporates a button, easily accessible with the thumb, which enables it to be deactivated so that you can write freely on the keyboard. In the event of a problem, a three-second press repositions the pointer in the middle of the screen.

This revolutionary mouse is only available via a Kickstarter campaign. It is priced at 59 euros, with delivery scheduled for October. Once the campaign is over, users will be able to choose the color of their mouse via a survey.

The magic mouse consumes less energy and helps reduce CO2 emissions and the progression of climate change.
