And if you don’t understand how damaging they can be, you won’t see the value in changing your lifestyle or supporting changes in government policy. By raising awareness, you can get others to join you in fighting climate change.

The first action is to save energy, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions. You should use smart, energy-efficient light bulbs that don’t need as much electricity to light your room. If you have air conditioning, don’t use it as soon as it starts to get hot. It is better to open the windows and let the natural breeze cool you down.

Of course, if it’s too hot, using the air conditioner is a must, but don’t set it too low, as it will require more energy. On the other hand, try not to set it too high during the colder months and wear sweaters to keep warm instead.

It’s good to install a smart thermostat, they can record your temperature preferences, adjust to your schedule and suggest energy-saving settings.

There are also solutions such as planting trees, eating locally grown food, taking a bike or public transportation to work, and reducing your carbon footprint by consuming less in general.
